I love Mark’s standup but I think Sam was making some really great points to Mark about telling stories. Mark is no doubt an excellent joke writer but his last special was exhausting at times from the constant barrage of jokes. I think stories would give some much needed breathing room and take his stand-up to the next level.

Unrelated: Anyone else find it hilarious that Mark thinks Pluribus is about Communism? I mean one could make that argument I suppose, but to pitch it like that was strange to me.
