Young adult horse book series from late 1980s/early 1990s with a black horse called Magician and a paralyzed best friend
I'm searching for the titles and author of a four book YA series about a girl trying to learn to ride at an affluent stable. The antagonist was a spoiled girl named Whitney who was very cruel to the main character, Kerri. Kerri is a hired companion for a blonde girl who was paralyzed in a riding accident. Kerri takes care of her horse, Magician.
Has anyone read these and knows where I could find copies to re read? Looking for the author or title.
