Normal to get ghosted after signing an offer??
Hi, so I had an hour long interview with a company, they called me and gave me an offer, emailed me saying to talk to them if I had any other offers and was thinking of taking another company’s offer. I ended up signing the offer and accepting after speaking on the phone. My start date is June 18th. it is currently May 15th. I signed the offer exactly one week ago, a day before the deadline. And sent a response email saying that everything was signed and I am looking forward to hearing from them. No response after that. I then email them on the 13th, just making sure everything went through ok and that they got the signed offer. Well it’s now May 15th and no response yet. I am honestly frustrated because I turned down another offer for this job. I was relying on it and had a good professional offer for a starting position with a date which I signed. This is also a reputable and respected firm. Am I panicking too much? I know I start next month but I just wanted confirmation from them that they saw I signed it and will be in touch.
