Hello all,

I am looking for advice here. My GC brought in someone to do the tile work in the first floor bathroom and I was expecting this renovation to turn out much differently than it is. I thought we were in agreement about the spec and and I’m not sure now how it can be salvaged. A few of my concerns are:

-The outside corners are not miter cut like we agreed upon

-the pattern is not centered on the niche and it should have been cut from one tile to match the veining

-The niche was supposed to be miter cut on the outside and around the return

-pattern wasn’t laid out to avoid the slivers on the back wall and floor

-Grout lines seem to be uneven

-chipping on the corners and around the niche

-floor tile set out of place

-grout lines are too thick and the wrong color

Can anything be done to avoid a full demolition and redo? Can any of this tile be saved or am I looking at a full replacement. It’s a lot of large format tile we are looking at here. Am I responsible for the cost?
