I'm looking for a character who doesn't feel the proper emotions that they should in a situation (ex. feeling apathetic when someone dies) and who feels alienated from other people. (They don't have to be outcasts, but they certainly feel different from others)

To clarify: I'm not looking for a stereotypical "sociopathic" or "psychopathic" character, who's cold and manipulative, but rather a character who is humanly flawed (Also I would like it be in a literary style)
