We just gutted the kitchen in a house we just purchased. I am wanting to get opinions on how you would layout this kitchen. Wall 1 is interior and it has an entry to hallway on the left and an entry to laundry room on the right. Wall 2 is exterior and I am planning on getting rid of that window and making that the wall where the range will be centered. Wall 3 is exterior and I want to move that window up and put the sink there. Wall 4 will be removed and is the dining room. Thinking an 8 foot island running from Wall 2 into the dining room.
Dimensions are 14’ 7” from wall 1 to wall 3 and 13’ 1” from wall 2 to current wall 4 but island will probably extend into current dining room a little. Whole house has oak floor. I’ll include a picture of dining room looking into kitchen as well (that wall is coming out)
