Anyone from a poor background unable to afford HTB and OSCP certifications made it into cybersecurity?

Kinda curious if people still made it fighting all the odds against them, I'm lowkey from the same situation so I still understand how it feels being low..

Myself from a non-technical field yet fighting all them odds to strive into an cybersecurity job yet have no funding to do so 😂. Just wanna know if people made it with their pure will and interest.. share your part of the story 🙌🏼

Need advice on switching from a Non - technical field to cybersecurity

Hello! I'm a student who have just finished class 12th looking for new colleges although got my vision narrowed down to BCom/BBA due to certain restrictions and circumstances, I'm highly interested in pursuing a professional job at Cybersecurity, started following roadmaps a few days ago, although having difficulties in finding free resources as I couldn't afford prices being a student myself..

I need help on where should I start being involved in beginner level tech companies that could help me gain experience and knowledge since I couldn't attend interns based on the field I'm interested in, please do suggest me some platforms that contain free resources that could help me attain more unaffiliated internships, even though my only source of knowledge is completely pledged on free cybersecurity books and informative websites on the roadmap..
