Has anyone with a history of DV, and with multiple flares over a long period, ever stopped having flares without surgery? I don’t mean for a few weeks or months. More like suffered with DV flares for 8 years, did this particular thing, now haven’t had a flare in 3 years. Just curious.

Long history with DV, but to keep it short I’m in the ER and had some IV antibiotics. They are sending me home with a RX for Cipro/Flagyl. They wreck my gut every time, but I thought remembered seeing someone mention taking Florastor when taking antibiotics. Is that correct, and if so did you notice a difference?
