Winter defferal

Hi got admitted in arts for fall 26 I will be majoring in Econ or honors Econ.
However, I had some issues with the CAQ so I might not get it in time to also get the study permit for fall.

Thus I was wondering how likely is it to be deferred to the winter semester ?
I’ve seen that the decision can only be taken by McGill later into the fall semester.

Hi, I'm from France so tuition fees for us are approximately 15k CAD per year for both. Idk if there are any ways to also get a scholarship at McGill, I didn't even ask to Concordia they just gave me afterwards.

I think I will still commit to McGill to do a BA joint honours econ finance or honours econ minor compsci, but I'm still curious abt what you guys think.

I want to have versatile options, getting internships during my degree, post-graduate working opportunities and even grad school if I want it.

I'm fine with working in Canada in the early stage but I'm planning to get a master and career overseas. In the end I'd say I'll go where the best opportunities are at.

I'm kind of interesting into getting a job in business type roles it could be: finance/banking, Operations/supply chain, data/business analytics, Consulting etc... however, I def wanna have versatile options as I'm still not sure abt my future.
