Are there any high-moderate paying animals careers?
I live in the US. Ive wanted to work with animals ever since I was a kid, and it’s been the only thing I’ve been consistently passionate about. I want to try to make this world at least a little bit better, or at least help them survive in it if I can’t do that.
Wildlife rehabilitation has always seemed like a dream job, but the pay is so low. Financial stability is important to me, and I’d at least like to earn enough to take care of myself and maybe a child one day. So maybe around 60k+ is my idea of moderate-high?
Being a vet requires far too much debt, and I’m unsure if it’s worth it. I saw that Petsmart store managers can make 75k-100k. No degree. So the investment seems pointless when compared to other options.
Ive done a bit of research about different careers relating to animals, but I don’t have actual experience in the field.
Do you guys have any insight?
