I can see why they're gutting the game. It's honestly not even that hard to follow, peoplr just lack common sense and throw games because all they want to do is button mash and push instead of following objectives. MOBAS have ALWAYS had this problem. I think the biggest problems are:
No damage breakdowns (if people actually knew what was killing them maybe they'd focus targets better)
Certain comps just let you turtle better even when they're way behind and losing and if the objectives arent going to let you destroy the gods alone then they can just turtle until 15 mins
THERE ARE NO COMMS!!!! NO ONE LISTENS TO PINGS HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET ANYTHING ACROSS.
The ranking system sucks. If i go mvp but the team loses because they refuse to work together i should at least not lose points, you dont snowball in this moba and solo carry like others.
The snowballing sucks, you can get a double kill twice in lane and they'll still keep up in levels. Maybe if there were more penalty for dying then people wouldnt rush in lvl 3 and just button mash at the start of every match
And the balancing on "technicals" is just god awful. Why do gotenks. Kid buu and gogeta do that much damage.
Solo climbing is impossible.
