My spouse is a nurse licensed in the Middle East and trying to apply through TruMerit (formerly CGFNS). They need the Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) verified for the "Validation of Registration/License" step.
Currently stuck in a verification loop and hoping someone here has been through something similar.Their licensing authority sent the COGS by email twice - once on March 30 and again on May 6, 2026 - to verifications@cgfns.org. TruMerit told us the authority should use their Digital Credential Exchange Portal instead and to just wait 10 business days.
So we went back to the licensing authority asking them to use the portal. Their response:
"We don't fill any forms through portal. We send the good standing by email only."
Now we're stuck. The authority refuses to use the portal. TruMerit won't process email submissions (and claim they can't find the two emails we already sent). Our support ticket got closed without actually fixing anything.
Any help appreciated. This is frustrating.
