Recieved an offer for a position, was told once I give a verbal yes then I will receive an offer in writing. I now have a meeting with Chief of Medicine. So I have officially not signed anything. Another position from a specialty I am more interested in reached out for initial interview. I will find out more details from the recruiter tomorrow. If let’s say I had to back out of the initial offer how would you proceed? I am a new grad and trying to navigate the waters. The first position is good, pay is good, doc is willing to teach, its a community hospital so not a huge PA presence and I will be first PA for the doc on the team so its new position . Second position is only initial interview so obviously not a guarantee at all. That position has Docs and a PA already on the team. Thank you so much
