I have a 2024 RS e-tron GT, just a question about launch mode.
I know the battery has to be reasonably charged up, and the vehicle has to be in dynamic mode. But when I mash the brake pedal and fully depress the accelerator the “extra power” bar only fills up about 2/3.
I have not tried this with traction control off, unless that happens by itself. I just put it in dynamic, keep the wheel straight, mash the brake and accelerator until the bar is as charged up as it can get, then release.
I tried this with multiple charge levels between 70-90% and then today even charged it all the way up to 100%, same results.
If this is normal that’s fine, it’s plenty fast, but the extra space in the meter leaves me questioning what am I missing here or why didn’t they just show the meter full without remaining space?
