What is Considered to be a Large Position in Sandisk for a Retail Investor

Now that Sandisk is above 1500 a share, I'm curious as to what the opinions are out there for what is considered to be a large position in Sandisk for a retail investor? 10 shares and above? 20 shares? I am curious about what the consensus on this is.

My remaster of Please Let me Wonder Take 5

Please let me know what you guys think! I have loved this song and this specific take for such a long time, but I wanted to see if I could clean it up a bit using audacity - make the vocals more shimmering while keeping the heart of Brian's vision.

Samsung's Profit Sharing Dilemma/General Strike and Sandisk's Opportunity

So Samsung, Sandisk's biggest competitor in the NAND flash memory market, is about to go on an 18 day general strike - from May 21st through June 7th. This is due to the fact that workers want a 15% profit sharing bonus permanently paid out year after year from the company. This would pay those workers in the Device Solutions (DS) Division roughly 400k ,in US dollars, a year in bonuses. If Samsung agrees to a permanent 15% profit sharing, it permanently lowers the stock's valuation (P/E ratio) because profits are structurally lower forever. Samsung management already tried to offer a lower 1 time 300k usd bonus, but the employees refused. This leads me to speculate that the price for NAND will surge higher, due to this decrease in supply while this strike goes on. I don't know also how long it takes things to get back up and running after being offline for half a month.

Can Sandisk capitalize on this since they're almost fully booked out? I have no clue.

What are your guy's thoughts on this? I don't see anyone really talking about the situation with Samsung's factories potentially being closed for 18 days, and the impact that will have on the NAND memory sector/ chip sector as a whole in the coming months.

Is it just me or is it funny how many people declare the world is ending when the price of Sandisk drops

Yet again, Sandisk has recovered from a brief drop and is now back at all time highs. We all know the fundamentals are painfully strong with this stock. It just doesn’t make sense to me to read of all the people selling and thinking it’s over when nothing has fundamentally changed and the stock dips a bit. It appears that some people really don’t want to be rich.

I get taking profits along the way, especially if it becomes an oversized concentrated position in one’s portfolio , but selling all of your shares due to a 5-6% drop based off of WDC selling off its Sandisk stake is just dumb. That’s all folks!

I was expecting 1400 in months. Now, it seems that we’ll hit 1500 this week and 2k shortly soon! This is the greatest stock of all time! What are your guy’s thoughts as we continue on this uptrend? This is insane! Let’s get to 3k by the end of the year.

Sandisk has been on an unstoppable tear since March of the last year. With the 6 billion buybacks quelling volatility to the downside and the storage wars pushing margin and prices to all time highs, seems like 2000 is imminent! Thoughts?

So I bought 10k of SNDK this week, after watching its meteoric rise from the sidelines. Yesterday's earnings solidified to me that this is a completely different cycle than anything seen before. I'm proud to be one of the newest Sandisk investors with all of you guys!
