Soooo I had my IUD (kyleena) for 2yrs 10months. For the entirety of my time with an IUD, I had a period. My cycle was 24-28 days. Wasn’t ever heavy enough to use more than a panty liner but blood would be there for around 7 days. First day of my last period was 3/22. Got Miss Kyleena out on April 3rd. A little bleeding for the first 3 days. Then from 4/15-4/18 came some extremely light, baby pink spotting like barely a whisper of anything, didn’t even need a pantyliner. Would wipe and see a small bit of pink intermittently over those few days but it wasnt a consistent flow. Period was due around 4/18. But I’ve had zero bleeding since. Not even a dot. Have been taking pregnancy tests, all negative.
Is this common? To go from having a reliable cycle with Kyleena to missing periods after removal? Is my body just trying to adjust to the withdrawal of synthetic hormones and subsequent production its own hormones? Or should I go see if these home pregnancy tests are all bunk and I’m tin roof rusted
