Currently doing up a ‘77 924. The wing mirrors are fairly damaged and also a bit ugly. I’m seeking aftermarket, preferably silver chrome mirrors, though I haven’t had any luck!
If anyone knows where a good place to grab some that fit the car is, I would love to grab the link for them.

I have a 1977 924 and it is sitting with a rusted fuel tank, and running on a temporary one right now.
I am looking for any and all tips on how to remove the fuel tank as I have recently discovered that I may have to remove the transmission.
Has anyone done it without removing the trans? I have some mechanical experience though that might be slightly out of reach at this stage.

Brand new to this group and the 924 lifestyle, recently picked up a 1977 924 running and driving condition. The main issues are cosmetic and the one mechanical issue is that the fuel tank is rusted, and it is running on a temporary fuel cell.
I have heard that replacing the rear hatch struts can be difficult and to be extra cautious as people have smashed their rear hatch glass before. Is this a real concern? videos on YouTube seem to do it so simply.
Let me know if any of you have experience in doing so.
