FYI: Check your local library for audio equipment rentals

My library has an entire mini audio recording room with a professional microphone and sound proofing environment you can rent for a couple hours. I ended up doing this over buying expensive gear at home, and the results are night and day in my videos. Very simple post or tip to share but thought I would bring it up since the concept of a library is sort of dead this generation.

Anyone else's mind just burnt out as of recent?

I work at a large vendor as support in networking and application assistance. I've worked in networks small and wide, touched firewalls, routers, done some network security implementation, gone deep into logging. Lately the company has been hamstringing our budget and it's like I'm running on constant fumes.

I used to feel pretty sharp but lately I feel like I can't even remember basic things, fumbling the command line and become confused with basic topology readings and it's genuinely worrying me. Like, my mind has just been burnt and thrown into the gutter with how stressful and how cognitively intense each day is. I don't even have a passion to learn outside of work anymore and I'm feeling like I'm just not keeping up with the times and change in the networking world anymore. Not sure, just a vent.
