I’m getting some good interviews, currently way underpaid for the role I’m in and it’s getting in the way of getting fair compensation in a new role. Should I lie, do they actually check your payslips? Would appreciate some advice on how to navigate this and if it’s worked..

Edit: Thanks for the advice. I don’t plan on lying but will try and navigate it best I can.

As the title says, I have a feeling my job isn’t secure anymore and I could be laid off at any moment so I just want to make sure my safety net is as strong as possible. After bills I’m left with around 2.7k per month - give or take and looking to save around 2k per month.

You guys have any tips to live off around 700 per month for spending? I really need to stay disciplined.

Thanks!
