Got warned in late March that I might be withdrawn if I didn’t meet my tutor. I spoke to them in person before Easter and they said we’d arrange something after the holidays.

Came back last week of April, attended everything (100% since the warning), checked emails regularly (even over Easter), but never got anything about a meeting. A friend in the same situation didn’t get contacted either, so I assumed they let us off as it's so close to the semester ending.

Then last Thursday they emailed me to meet on Friday. I didn’t see it because I got home late and went straight to sleep for an exam the next day. The meeting was Friday while I was literally commuting to uni. I’ve only just seen the email ~4 days later. The reason j didn't bother checking was because uni is basically finished for this semester apart from some online assignments due in a week.

Given I’ve had full attendance since the warning and the short notice, do you think they’ll be reasonable about my late response to the missed meeting? I find it kind of annoying how the tutor literally didn't even bother saying anything to me about it, and instead just sent me an email later that day with literally less than a day for me to find out about the meeting - (not that i could attend it anyways due to the graded test).

Edit: Clearly most people commenting here are ignoring the fact that i am just looking for some advice. I am not looking to put blame on the university, i am just showing my perspective and what i can say for my reasoning as to why i missed it.

conclusion = This is me
