I passed my HESI today on my first attempt with a 98.67% cumulative score! I wanted to share what worked for me and say a huge thank you to everyone who shared their Quizlets—they were incredibly helpful.

Aside from the links below, I used the McGraw-Hill HESI review books and took their practice exams to simulate a timed environment. I completed the subjects in the following order:

BIOLOGY - 100%

CHEMISTRY - 100%

MATH - 100%

  • Tips: I have a strong math foundation, so I didn't use Quizlets much here. About 50% of the exam was Ratio and Proportion.
  • Other topics: Percentages (finding %, converting to decimals), conversions, and word problems.
  • Note: Not everything is multiple choice—some questions require manual entry. An on-screen calculator is provided, which is great for converting fractions to decimals quickly.

VOCABULARY - 94%

GRAMMAR - 100%

READING - 98%

Good luck to everyone preparing to take it! You've got this.
