I passed my HESI today on my first attempt with a 98.67% cumulative score! I wanted to share what worked for me and say a huge thank you to everyone who shared their Quizlets—they were incredibly helpful.
Aside from the links below, I used the McGraw-Hill HESI review books and took their practice exams to simulate a timed environment. I completed the subjects in the following order:
BIOLOGY - 100%
- Topics: Cell parts, Mitosis, Meiosis, Aerobic Respiration, Taxonomy, and Hierarchy Order.

CHEMISTRY - 100%
- Topics: Finding Molar Mass, types of bonds, properties of atoms, and C1V1=C2V2.

MATH - 100%
- Tips: I have a strong math foundation, so I didn't use Quizlets much here. About 50% of the exam was Ratio and Proportion.
- Other topics: Percentages (finding %, converting to decimals), conversions, and word problems.
- Note: Not everything is multiple choice—some questions require manual entry. An on-screen calculator is provided, which is great for converting fractions to decimals quickly.
VOCABULARY - 94%
- Tips: Almost every word on the exam was in this Quizlet. Try to understand the words by heart rather than just memorizing them.

- Topics covered: Food and Drinking, Circus, Phobias, One-Dollar Bill, Golden Gate Bridge, Coffee, Subjective Exams, Game of Bridge, Voice, and Amazon Rainforest.
