Missed Filing 2020 Tax Return
Typically when I file my taxes, I usually end up owing a bit of money, but this year was the first time in a while that I was actually expecting a refund. After waiting a few weeks, I called CRA and they said that I’m not eligible to receive the refund because they have no record of me filing one of my previous tax returns.
I was under the impression that I had filed that year, but according to CRA, they never received it. I normally use WealthSimple for my returns, however it doesn’t appear that I’m able to file a return going that far back through the platform.
Is there another free software option that would allow me to file a 2020 tax return?
