Help me! I'm dying to smell divine.
I'm really struggling to find fragrances that I can wear. My sense of smell is outrageously powerful. A lot of perfumes give me an instant migraine. Jasmine and violet are 100% out of the question. Most strong florals are, but those two are impossible to wear in any concentration. Lilac, lavender, frangipani, and rose are ones I know I can wear provided the notes are not too intense. So I think I'm cool with the softer florals. Really green, grassy, or mossy notes are not good for me either. So I'm pretty sure vetiver is out as well. As you can see, I'm generally forced into very gourmand fragrances. I used to wear Pink Sugar (don't come for me), but either it changed or I changed. It gives me headaches now as well. Besides, I'm so tired of being stuck with cheap, unsexy, immature scents. I don't mind smelling delicious, but smelling like straight-up candy is not it. I want to smell more sophisticated, intriguing, and sexy. I like wood, tobacco, smoke, and lighter resinous and leather notes. I like vanilla, but I don't want to smell like Warm Vanilla Sugar body spray. I've seen Tobacco Vanille from Tom Ford, and that sounds interesting. I keep seeing reviews saying it's very masculine, so I was thinking about getting a sample. I would love some suggestions for other fragrances to try along with that one.
