I was watching a documentary in which they were discussing that in the mughal era, the shahzadian weren’t married off because the king was afraid that his throne would be in danger if a strong son-in-law came. And if they ever were married, it was just for the sake of the king’s benefit. This made me think that patriarchy is so deep-rooted that the last few generations and even us, fighting for women’s freedom might not ever have a fruitful result.

P.S: I know things have changed a lot, but I’m talking on a mass level.

while being a patient of anxiety how to distract my self from my sister's problems like the problems they have out of the home like problems with the husbands and fiancé, etc bcs my emotions depend on their expression like how is their mood through out the day , i just want to deattach myself from these kind of situations (before someone come up to me i do listen to them the most and help them get out of the situation but sometimes the anxiety peaks and my body and mind stop working)
