2L Toronto Recruit OCI Chances
I know there’s been a lot of these recently and at the risk of being told to go touch grass I still wanted to post this and see what the general consensus is on what my chances are for the 2L Toronto Recruit. I just finished 1L at TMU (partly the reason why I wanted to post this since I know TMU doesn’t do too well in the recruit for Big Law at least).
I have a 3.40 final GPA:
Crim: B+
Con: A-
Torts: B
LRW I: A-
Legal Theory: A-
Contracts: B+
Admin: A-
Property: A
Indig: B-
LRW II: B
Other background info (idk how relevant they are): Masters degree, around 2 years work experience, legal research/general research experience, lots of involvement in clubs throughout undergrad and law school.
I know that I have an “above the curve” GPA but will I be disadvantaged by the fact that I go to TMU?
