Recommendations for new windows on a busy road?

I've just bought a new place. I'm on a bus route, including night buses, and the old windows are so knackered that it's like the buses are driving through my living room.

I'm looking for recommendations from anyone living on a busy street who's replaced their old double glazing and seen a good reduction in noise?

A friend recommended CR Smith and I've had them out to quote. They were heavy on the sales pressure and tactics. I don't like that shite, and would prefer someone else if I can find them.

Anyone with any recommendations? Also interested in thoughts on double vs triple glazing for road noise. Sales guy from CR Smith wouldn't quote for triple, saying double was just as good.

Edit: my current windows are double glazed, they're 45 years old.
