I am flying from London -> Bangkok -> Hong Kong

I am looking at return flights and noticed there's a flgiht from shenzhen airport which is nearly half the price as flying from Hong Kong, trying to find out whether i need any sort of extra visa if i travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen airport? Can't find any info online easily
