We (me and my wife) are travelling to Mussoorie to spend the 1st May long weekend for a relaxing trip, not visiting all the listed touristy places but loitering around good aesthetic ones.
So, here’s requesting the members of this family to help us out with a few queries for which we are unable to get good answers around -
How’s the weather currently? Since we are coming up from Bangalore , do we need to pack warm clothes or a hoodie and a shawl would suffice ?
What is recommended staying close to Mall Road or taking up a stay a bit far? We are definitely going to visit Landour so wanted to keep that in mind.
Also, we are planning for a day trip to Dhanaulti and Tehri from Mussoorie and back. Does that seem to be a good idea ? If so, how can that be planned.
Is the vehicle permit rule applicable at Landour/Mussoorie? For rented two wheelers do we need the permit and how to go about it since we will hire one after reaching.
How easy is it to travel from Dehradun to Mussoorie? What options do we have ?
