Released in 1980 on the short-lived Jonjo Records, "Irons In The Fire" was the major breakout hit in Jamaica for Home T-4 (later Home T). Produced by the legendary Henry "Junjo" Lawes, it perfectly blends smooth Motown and soul harmonies with the crisp production that defined the early '80s. As one of only a few releases from this boutique label before it vanished, the single remains a key milestone in Mikey Bennett’s (lead vocals) career and a top-tier collector's gem.
