I’m wondering if I should just give up and switch to an easier instrument. I know my slow progress is because my work was previously very demanding and I was working 12-16+ hours every day and didn’t have time or energy to practice.

What can I do to progress and finally break through to book 3? I switched teachers recently and I’ve made sooo much progress with her already in a very short amount of time. All the things I suspected were wrong that my last teacher didn’t address or just straight up incorrectly told me to do this teacher has been fixing- and I want to use this momentum to make a lot of progress.

Are there scales, arpeggios or other finger techniques I can use to supplement my learning to speed up my progress?
