Hey everyone! I recently filed my N-400 and just got my receipt notice (1-797). I know the policy says the receipt notice + expired green card is valid proof of PR status for 24 months, but I'm curious about real-world experiences, especially when traveling as of lately.

Has anyone traveled internationally with just their expired green card and N-400 receipt notice? Did you run into any issues at customs/border patrol or when checking in for your flight? Did airlines give you any trouble?

Would love to hear your experiences, I plan on traveling to europe. Thanks in advance!
