Is there a problem within the Music Department? The repeated delays in the release of hymns no longer seem normal. Everytime, we are reminded that the Church continues to move forward and progress, yet the late distribution of hymns for special occasions appears to be happening more frequently. This raises concerns, especially to us choir members and organists who need sufficient time to study and prepare the hymns properly.

As an organist, I have personally felt the impact of these delays. Despite being expected to be fully prepared for worship services, we are often left with very limited time to study and master the hymns before they are needed. This can significantly affect the quality of preparation and create unnecessary pressure, especially when the hymns contain difficult notes that require ample practice to become familiar with. Now, only a few days remaining before the PNK Thanksgiving, still no piyesa has been released as of today.

I hope this matter can be reviewed and addressed by the appropriate offices so that similar delays can be avoided in the future. Providing the hymns well in advance would allow choir members and organists to prepare more effectively and participate in worship services with greater confidence and readiness.
