I watched the British series "Foyles War". If you have not seen it, it is excellent. As a result I developed an interest in Britain's history in the post WWII era.

It was a very tough time; food scarcity, unemployment, underemployment and many changes in social mores and roles.

Can anyone suggest a couple of history books relating to that era that I could read?

Would like to try my hand at horseshoes. Is there anywhere in Metro that there is a club?

I am serious, not just horsing around.

I heard quite a few fire truck going……anyone know what is going on on?
