A couple of questions for those with the AB9 from a VKB MCGU user. for reference I'm 60% MSFS, 30% DCS, 10% WT/Aces

1. When watching reviews and checking images it appears that the Moza desk mount doesn't allow the user to get the stick low enough (if centre mounted) for good ergonomics. It does appear that the desk mount has some level of adjustability in terms of depth but I'm not seeing many people get it low enough to rest an elbow on their leg. Equally the usual Amazon desk mount options are going to encounter the same thing. Outside of mounting it to a rig or getting the long monstertech desk mount there doesn't appear to be too many options here, right? A short adjustable stand (as visible in one of the marketing pics) might be the right choice but I'm struggling to find something that won't require some DIY
2. In almost all reviews the hardware gets praised and the software is considered a work in progress, but with the AB9 now out for around 18 months+ I'd expect to have seen vast improvements and even greater implementation of profiles (specifically for MSFS 2024). I downloaded the Cockpit app to investigate but it doesn't appear to have gained many more profiles from its release.
