Hello,

Does anyone have recent experience getting a Canadian transit visa for an Indian citizen living in India? How long did the process take?

I applied for my visa on March 27, 2026 and as of April 28, 2026, there is no action and the Web site doesn't even give an estimated time of completion. Assuming it is approved, I still have to get the passport stamped, which also takes time.

Can anyone with recent experience tell me how long I should expect to wait for the whole process?
