Canary3DS and Cyberplayer3DS review.
So far I have really enjoyed Canary3DS, its the best music player hands down, v 1.1.0 really improved the app alot, and im glad that my suggestion was added, Canary has alot of features no other app really has, theres preset color options, but if you press A you can enter a hex code, which is really cool, ive been using canary since the 2nd of this month, i estimate a total amnt of hrs of 20, and 5 hours while the 3ds was open (since playtime does NOT track when 3ds is in sleep/closed mode), some songs i have i need to turn the audio back down, but thats no issue, i would like to see maybe ZL/ZR used for controlling in app audio, and maybe a button lock. Canary has never crashed my 3ds, unlike a few of the other music players. overall, Canary is the best music player.
Now cyberplayer3ds, its really great, ive maybe used it for ab 5 hours all together its really good, but there are many issues, if you sit in the settings menu too long, you cant leave it. it crashed my 3ds more times than any other music player, listening to a few songs then going to select another song, it crashes, you skip a song after awhile, also crashes. also not a fan of how i have to go through HBL just to launch it, CIA file will defo make it better by a longshot, also its really demanding on the system. but on to the good things about cyberplayer, the vfx is really cool, including 3D support which blew me away, i love the geiger effect so much, the preset EQ is super cool and the first of its kind in any HB music app ive used, sometimes the text is hard to read, but you can always fix the spacing in settings, really a good music app if you want to use it in cars, or just sit and enjoy it. but until they fix the crashes, id wait to use it.
Also, my 3DS is a New 3DSXL Galaxy Edition that was made in 2016.
