Hey, I am a 2nd year international student at USYD studying professional accounting and finance. I have 1+ years of data analytics expxerience in a company and I have also gotten a 100% scholarship. I am pursuing the CPA and ACCA, yeah both. I did the foundation exams in CPA as I am still doing my degree so had to do it and gave the e&g this april, I have also finished 9 out of 13 exams in ACCA.
I know internationals have it tough but do you feel my profile is atleast worth noticing for audit vacationer and graduate roles in big 4 or big 10. I plan to do 4 cpa papers and 10 acca by graduation.
Also I have applied to programs like deloitte, kpmg, bdo vacationer programs and the caanz achiever program and also usyd has an industry placement program. In deloitte bdo kpmg and caanz I am waiting for the outcome of whether I got into the last round and in usyd I am in the last round. I wanted to ask that do these programs give everyone the first and second rounds or are they selective? I know Usyd is but dont know about others.
I plan to move to either Tasmania or Adelaide after graduation because I very well know getting a job in Sydney is tough but a visa is next to impossible for auditors and accountants.
