I am personally on the left in politics and I highly admire people working towards a positive change in the current climate crisis and wanting a revolution. I personally make sure almost all the things I buy are ethically sourced and have zero to near zero carbon footprint but, amid my determination to doing this it is becoming harder and harder every single day.
It took me months to afford a pair of nice jeans that fit my fashion taste I've been wanting to buy since months. I have barely bought any clothes this past year because I tend to almost never buy any new clothes from major corporations, I buy almost everything from thrift stores and let me tell you often times due to trends thrift stores which are supposed to be cheaper than big brands are often even more expensive. I don't even want to buy extra stuff that I won't use but, there are somethings that I need but, I'm hesitant to buy because they barely fit my budget while people my age have crazy spending habits because they buy stuff from Shein, Temu, Amazon etc. saying that, "it's all the same I am not really harming anyone".
Ps. sorry for the long post
