I’m doing early research for a Canadian freight platform idea and would really appreciate feedback from truckers, owner-operators, small fleet owners, and dispatchers.
The idea is simple: connect businesses that need loads moved with verified truckers, while also trying to solve common issues like finding loads, empty miles, delayed payments, fuel cash flow, and trust with brokers/shippers.
I’m not selling anything. I’m just trying to understand the real problems truckers face before building anything, because building an app without talking to actual drivers would be peak startup nonsense.
The questionnaire asks about:
- How you currently find loads
- Payment delays and factoring
- Empty miles / downtime
- Fuel costs and fuel cards
- Broker/load board pain points
- Whether same-day payment after delivery would actually help

Your answers will help me figure out whether this is a real problem worth solving or just another “Uber for trucking” idea that sounds nice on paper and dies in reality.
