Why do my practice scores change so much when I feel like I’m studying the same way?

Anyone else have their scores all over the place? Like one test I’ll get around 450–470 and then the next I’m down to like 410–420 😭 I’m studying pretty much the same and going over my mistakes too, so idk why they keep changing this much. Does this happen to anyone else?

Anyone else understand everything during review but blank on practice tests?

When I’m going through a topic, everything makes sense and I feel like I actually understand it. But then I do a practice test and it just doesn’t click the same way lol. Like I know I went over this stuff, but when I see it in a question I struggle to apply it. Anyone else have this problem? What helped you?

What’s the best way to review Bio mistakes?

For Bio questions you get wrong, do you write them down, go over the topic again, or just keep doing more practice questions? I feel like I’m spending way too much time reviewing every mistake.

Bio is honestly overwhelming

No matter how much I study Bio, I feel like I forget half of it a few days later. I'll finally get one topic down, then somehow I've already forgotten something I studied the week before. Anyone else dealing with this? What actually helped you make it all stick?

How did you review your QR mistakes?

What did you guys do after getting a QR question wrong? Did you just redo it later, write it down, or have another way of making sure you didn't make the same mistake again?

QR help

My QR score hasn't really improved over my last few practice tests, especially because of the word problems. I always get stuck trying to figure out how to set them up and where to even start. Any tips that helped you get better at them?

PAT Generators or Question Banks?

I've been trying to do PAT every day, but I'm not sure what's the better use of my time, the generators or the question banks. Which one helped you more, and what would you recommend?

Did you have a system for making sure you didn't forget earlier chapters?

I keep forgetting the same topics and end up reviewing them over and over. 😅 What did you guys do to make everything actually stick?

Practice test scores vs. real DAT?

What were you guys averaging on your bootcamp/booster practice tests, and what did you end up getting on the real DAT?

Running out of time in QR

I've been stuck around 370–400 in QR, and I keep running out of time because I take forever trying to remember or figure out which formula to use. I feel like I know the material, but I'm just too slow and end up rushing the last few questions. Did anyone else deal with this? How can I improve my speed and scores?

Do I need to know everything in Bio Bits?

I'm going through bio bits on booster right now, and there's just so much information. It's taking me forever to get through them and memorize everything. For those who took the DAT recently, what did you do? Did you actually memorize all of bio bits, or did you just keep reviewing them until things started to stick?

Were the conceptual questions harder than the calculations?

I've been spending a lot of time practicing Gen Chem calculations, but now I'm wondering if I should be putting more time into concepts instead. For those who've taken the DAT recently, did the Gen Chem section feel more conceptual or calculation heavy? How did it compare to what you were expecting?

PAT generators or question banks?

Right now I'm using both the PAT generators and question banks, but I'm not sure what I should be focusing on more. Should I just grind the question banks, or are the generators pretty similar to the real DAT too? What helped you the most?

Anyone using the Booster Bio Quizlets?

I've been going through Bio Bits and they've been helping, but I'm thinking about adding the booster Bio Quizlets too. For anyone who's used them, did they help with retaining the information, or are Bio Bits enough?
