For the past few months, there’s been an encampment under the freeway by the Webster st tunnel and 5th St.

Then, the encampment was cleared and the area under the freeway was blocked with fences. Obviously the people living there had nowhere else to go. Within the week they had set up their living situations surrounding the closed off area. It’s almost impossible to walk down Webster st. to Jack London because there’s a 3 block encampment forming.

It’s so frustrating to see this happen but I don’t have a solution. Has anyone else seen this?
