After that interesting day at the loch you and Sophia kept heading forward.

This next path was very beautiful, you looked out only Caledonia’s raging sea and saw a lovely beach up ahead.

The beach was particularly busy and had a huge caravan park.

“If you want we could spend the next few days here at this caravan park I’m sure Professor Thistle can send us money.” Sophia says

You two book a caravan and put down all your stuff and go looking for a shop.

In the shop they are selling pokeballs for ¥200
(Anyone who already has pokeballs can buy more or save up and you can catch three pokemon here that fit the beach/cliff vibe)

You and Sophia spend a lovely day catching pokemon and exploring the caravan park and at night you go to the restaurant, have some lovely seafood and the head to bed for the night.

Rewards:

Sorry for not posting daily but from now on I will b posting daily so keep checking and you will see a post and if you need caught up don’t be afraid to start as most of these don’t need me to reply.

You and Sophia left Braemar and headed to the next gym.

“Oh wow this path will lead us straight to a beautiful loch which has some crazy history.” She says looking at the map.

You arrive at the loch and you have a look around the little town, you look in different shops and see a someone giving away a free pokeball as they don’t seem to want it so you take it.

Sophia says there is a boat tour around the loch and it tells you of all the history here.

You both take a seat on the boat and the intercom starts up.

“Welcome everyone, before we start we need you to make sure you keep your hands inside the boat at ALL TIMES!” The intercom says seriously.

The boat starts and the intercom talks about the history.

“Many years ago a group of Feebas and Magikarp lived peacefully in this Loch, they weren’t very strong pokemon so stayed in groups to fend if predators.
One day they all started evolving and became much more aggressive towards each other.
This began the heated rivalry between Gyarados and Milotic, for many years people couldn’t fish here as it was a risk entering these waters incase you came across and aggravated Gyarados or Milotic.
All the fighting stopped when the legendary pokemon Kyogre slept at the bottoms of this Loch separating the two species.”

You look around and see two Milotic swimming elegantly in the water, and at the other side a huge Gyarados speeding through the water.

At that point a huge canon fires a net into the water and after a few seconds the legendary pokemon Kyogre is being pulled up, still asleep.

“Oh no it’s Team Silence” Sophia shouts

What do you do to try and help? As you try fighting them you see groups of Milotics and Gyarados coming to join in.

After Team silences failed attempt at capturing the Kyogre, and the boat yous were in had capsized, you were rescued by some of the Aquatic Pokemon.

You either pick to be rescued by a shiny Milotic or Shiny Gyarados.

The Pokemon that saved you seems like it wants to join you.

Kyogre flies away to go back to the ocean and the two species of Pokemon swim their separate ways clearly living in peace once again.

You and Sophia hit the road and after that exciting and scary day you two are glad to see a B&B up ahead.

You book the last room available and climb into bed and suddenly your egg starts to hatch (only rule no legendary so it can be a starter)

After it hatches you both turn off the lights and try fall asleep.

“Why does stuff like that always happen to us.” She laughs as she says goodnight.

You and Sophia arrived in the village of Braemar and it is packed with many people from all around by the looks of it.

You follow the crowd hoping to find the gym leader and see a huge sign saying, “Highland Games and Trainers Gym Battles”

“Well I’m going to watch the Highland Games and you can go do your battle.” Sophia says as she goes over to ticket booth.

You wonder around and finally see a sign and also a couple of other trainers who are clearly there for a battle.

Out comes a big man with a huge bushy beard and an equally huge Hariyama behind him.

“Right then this is the one day of the year we’re the gym battle is different and you will compete in three Highland Games Activities, you can pick four pokemon to use here and I would recommend at least one strong and one fast one.” He hands you all a Kilt, says to get changed and meet him outside.

You pick four pokemon and walk outside to join the other trainers.

“Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the Annual Breamar Highland Games.” The Man shouts and the crowd erupts until cheers and whistles, you smell hot dog stands and burger stands, you see dancers and pipers and almost every single adult has a beer in their hand.

“We have many events today and I, Scott Reid Braemars gym leader, will be hosting this year’s event and also will be including a couple of trainers who will be competing for their gym badge.” He climbs down from the mic and tells everyone to follow him.

Events for today:

- Caber toss (you must pick a pokemon and you have to toss a log as far as you or your pokemon can)

- Tug of War (you and your four pokemon will go up against another trainer and have to try win)

- A Monro Run (you can ride a Pokemon or have by your side keeping you hydrated for example and all you have to do is run up a hill and back down)

Snorlax enjoyed everyone’s meals very much and picked three to win, they were:

You walked up and were rewarded an egg which will hatch in a couple of days.

After that fun competition you continued to the next path and came across an eerie and foggy path with many scarier pokemon.

As you were walking two people appeared out of the for infront of you two.

“Stop right there and give us your pokemon and se aren’t messing around!” The girl said.

“What she said now hand them over!” The boy said.

“And who are you?” Sophia asked mockingly

“We are Team Eclipse, I am Echo.” She threw out her Excadrill

“And I am Silas.” And he threw out a Trevenant

You must battle them to make it through and you can only use one pokemon and it’s a duo battle with you a Sophia’s Rapidash.

Anyone who bought pokeballs back at the last gym you can catch two pokemon here if you want.

You and Sophia’s path took you too a small village.

“Hey look they’re having a cooking competition here and you can win a prize wanna enter?” Sophia asks

You agree and you both head over to try and join the competition.

“Welcome to the Annual Snorlax Cooking Competition!” The judge says.

“The rules are simple, make a delicious meal and Snorlax will decide who the winner is so good luck.”

You look around at the competition and are shocked to see so many people attending.

Comment the meal you will make below and I will decide who wins (this will be slightly unfair depending on what I like but in a teenage boy so I pretty much like everything)

You can make sweet or savoury, fast food style or fancy food style you can make whatever you think will win.

E.G. Sophia is making a lovely strawberry Cheesecake with the help of her Eevee and an Alcreamie she bought in Glasreign and you see another contestant making a stack of Tacos with many different meats and veg.

Before leaving the Dojo you saw a salesperson who was selling items at the front gate and you had ¥1400 to spend so thought why not see what he has to offer.

He has:

- 6 pokeballs

- one mega stone of your choice

You can choose one or none your call

After that Sophia looked at her map and began leading the way.

“You know how I wanted to become a professor I wondered what I could study first, maybe mega evolution or perhaps Gigantamax pokemon, what would you study?” She asks

You think for a second and then answer

“I would study ……….” You answer

Along this path you walk through a really dense forest which is warmer than others and has a fast flowing stream.

If you chose 6 pokeballs you can catch up to three pokemon here or don’t have to catch any (or just 1 or 2) and say what you want to catch, if you want a shiny spin and the only ones you can’t find here are

- Gyarados or Magikarp

- Milotic or Feebas

- Aron evo line

- Larvitar evo line

- any of the starters

The pokemon can either be unevolved or evolved once.

After a long day of walking you finally arrived at a Japanese style dojo.

As you entered you see many people and pokemon training in many different ways.

A man comes up to you and ask if you want to challenge him for the gym badge so you accept

He takes you to a room with a dirt battlefield and he spins a wheel

“Whatever this wheel lands on is the kind of battlefield you will be battling in.”

Comment your pokemon team below and I will see if you win and this one if just a usual Pokemon battle but perhaps you can use you type of battlefield to your advantage.

- Black belt (this gyms badge equivalent)

You and Sophia are nearing the next gym.

You spot a cave on the edge of a mountain and say to Sophia that “we should go see if any pokemon live there.”

Sophia agrees and you begin exploring the cave.

In the cave you only find one pokemon and it can be a choice of either:

- Ralts

- Bagon

- Duskull

Rewards:

- one Pokemon

- one item you all need (no mega or Z-Move just like and evolution stone or metal coat or leftovers etc)

You got up that morning and saw Sophia still asleep so decided to research your next gym.

It seems like the gym is very remote and you couldn’t find much on it, the only thing that helped was a post that said,

“I battled the gym and I can’t say much about it but getting high ground really does help.”

You think what type would be weak against something that can go up high…..

Rewards:

- one pokemon of you choice (remember you’re in the mountains so try pick like and ice, dark, rock or flying type and I’ll say if it is okay and also try think what might be strong against the next gym)

And ask if you wanna shiny roll for the pokemon

Before you and Sophia left Professor Thistle sent you 3 more pokeballs free of charge.

Your next path goes onto a Rocky Mountain and on the way you battle a couple of trainers as well.

“Hey what’s that noise?” Sophia says as she begins walking over towards the sound

You see a bunch of pokemon standing at either side of a large open area.

“Look that’s the whole Aron evolution line and on the other side it’s the whole Larvitar evolution line, are they about to fight?” You and Sophia look at each other with a strange look.

“Should we stop them?” Sophia asks

“No!” A voice calls out. “You must never stop a fight between the two it is a sacred battle that must happen if you want to help then you can pick a side.”

You look at the strange man and then look at the pokemon ready to battle

You now must pick a side in which you would prefer to win the battle, you can decide the outcome of the battle and you will be allowed to catch either Aron or Larvitar (depends on what side you chose)

After the victory (or loss you decide) you and Sophia finish walking down the path and come to the top of the mountain.

“Wow look at the sunset. Wanna set up camp here?” Sophia asks.

You agree and both set up your tents and rest while the sun sets under the mountain, you and your pokemon, Sophia and the region of Caledonia are going to rest and are resting on a beautiful sunset.

You arrived in Glasreign late that night so booked a hotel at the pokemon center and stayed the night.

In the morning Sophia said she has to go see the Professor and tell him of the pokemon she had seen and that she will catch up with you after your gym battle.

You wish her well and make your way to the gym.

You walk into the gym and see the gym leader Finn standing at the door talking to his receptionist.

“Finn? I’m ready to battle!” You say throwing your pokeball in the air.

“Ha! You must be knew.” Finn laughs to your face

“You see in Caledonia we don’t just have Gyms where you battle for the badge but rather complete certain tasks like cooking or some old fashioned Highland Games but here you have to beat me in a rugby match.” He says with a confident smirk over his face.

You then remember when you did your research on him that he is a pro rugby player.

For this battle you can use six pokemon and yourself, tell me your strategy and to win you simply need three try’s (touchdowns in America)

You and Sophia left Jurassic Park and made your way towards Glasreign.

The path is long but it comes to a small town on the end of a huge lake.

“So it looks like we need a boat to cross the water.” Sophia says looking at the map.

You point in the direction of a boat hire and the two of you hire a boat to get to Glasreign.

Along the way you can catch one water type pokemon and it has to be the first stage.

You and Sophia had a lovely night in the parks luxurious hotel which is filled with skeletons and fossils.

You both decided to continue your journey so packed up your stuff and headed for the exit.

BANG!!!

An explosion happens behind you guys and you quickly turn around and instinctively run towards it.

You see that it happened in the Tyrantrum enclosure so you and a couple of other rangers run in to see what’s happening.

In the enclosure you see none other than Team Silence who are trying to steal the Shiny Tyrantrum.

“Hey stop!” You shout as you send out some pokemon

You, Sophia and a couple of the rangers all send out pokemon to battle the Grunts.

Intense battling breaks out and you defeat all the grunts but the helicopter that has put a net around the Shiny Tyrantrum is still taking off.

You look over and see the Aerodactyl from yesterday swooping down towards you, it lands at your feet and gestures you to get on.

How do you save the Tyrantrum?

After a long debate with Sophia you finally decided on Jurassic Park.

The two of you walk toward the big gates and ask the young man behind the counter how much the tickets are.

He says for trainers you can get in for free and give you both a free day pass.

You walk around and have a look at some of the pokemon and you and Sophia are amazed.

You see Shieldon and Bastiodon, you see Cranidos and Ramparados, you see Archen and Archeops.

“Hey look we can have a drive through the enclosures.” Sophia says and begins walking in that direction.

The two of you get into a jeep and the driver tells everyone to keep their hands and feet inside at all times as these pokemon aren’t as trained as your own.

You drive through the huge grassy terrain, all the plants are huge, you see huge watering holes and caves for pokemon to sleep.

You see some Ramparados fighting and two Bastiodon with their young, over head a huge Aerodactyl swoops over and is followed but a group of Archens, past the watering hole you see Carracosta and an Omastar fighting for food.

Over in a cave you see a beautiful and majestic Aurorus who seems to have just woken up.

“Alright everyone please keep close we are going to get out and pet some of the pokemon.” The ranger steps out and guides your group to the Bastiodons and Shieldons.

Your group spend a good few minutes with the Bastiodons until an Aerodactyl swoops down and lands right next to you.

“Umm…hello.” You say looking back into its eyes.

“Be very careful.” The ranger says

The Aerodactyl looks at you and your pokemon and smiles, gives your pokemon a berry and wood off.

“Did she just…smile at you?” The ranger is very shocked as usually Aerodactyl are very aggressive.

Your group continues onto the parks main attraction, Tyrantrum.

You drive through and the ranger puts up the cars protective shield.

“Now some of you may notice that one of the Tyrantrum is a different colour and that is because he is a very rare shiny one.” The ranger says pointing up ahead.

You drive past and see two walking together one is normal colour and one is a rare shiny.

Your group admires the couple until they notice and run off to their home.

After that tour you and Sophia explore a bit more before heading to the hotel for a rest.

Just as you are heading to the hotel you see a Ranger trying to train one of the Pokemon.

(Basically you will go over and whatever you want it to be it won’t be listening to the ranger so you get it too listen and he will offer it to you, you pick who you want the pokemon to be)

“Cmon we can stop now we are just reaching half way.” Sophia says as she eagerly pushes on.

You sit down on a bench sharing looks with your exhausted pokemon,

“And to think she was just complaining about how far we have to walk.” You say to your pokemon

As you look up you spot a sign that says,

FARMER MARKETS

OPEN 11am - 2pm

“Hey Sophia imma go check out the farmers market wanna come?” You say already leaving without waiting for her answer.

“Huh? What? Wait up that’s the wrong way.” She comes running over.

You arrive at the farmers market and start browsing through all the stalls and end up losing Sophia in the busyness.

You look at the stalls and see Scottish Moo Moo milk, Alcreamie Merangues, Tauros riding challenge, Growlithes Grill and much more.

You decide that because you just left Senora really quickly that perhaps buying your mum something and sending it over to her would make her happy.

You can decide what to buy for her and whatever it is it’s ¥100 and if you want you can buy an Evo Stone for ¥100 as well.

After you buy everything Sophia manages to find you and says let’s go we want to try and get to the city Glasreign someday, so you two quickly check in at the small towns pokemon center, you send the gift you your mother and then you two are off once again.

Ghosts aren’t really one of my top pokemon types and I rarely think about them but here are my top 3:

First is gengar because he is really cute and cool and the fan art I found was really cool I thought

Next is Sableye and he is also cute and reminds me of Stitch

And lastly Annihilape who is just the upgraded version of Primape and is sooo cool

You left the Professors lab with a pokemon by your side and a new friend (or old one) who has joined the journey as well.

“So it looks like the next city is up this way and WOW! We have to walk 37km to get there that’s going to take days.” Sophia says with her head buried in her Pokephone

“That’s fine it means we can catch a bunch of pokemon on the way and I had five pokeballs I’d like to use up.” You say eagerly showing all 5 pokeballs.

Up ahead you spot a trainer and he looks like he wants to battle.

On this day you can catch two pokemon of you choice (or one your call) but you can’t pick pokemon like an ice type or dragon because you are currently walking down a forest path so say the pokemon(s) you want to catch and I’ll say yes or no.

They have to be the first evolution and their is some pokemon that I’m not allowing to be caught right now and if you want a shiny ask me and I’ll roll a for you.

This region isn’t about battling and more about catching the pokemon you like and ones you aren’t used to catching (you will be able to catch more than six pokemon)

The trainers pokemon is lvl 5 and so are all of yours and you will receive ¥300 for beating him and you can decide the battles outcome as three/two pokemon will most likely beat one.
