Not sure I believe doc!

F55
I went to see colorectal surgeon for my worsening hems….

She said I have a couple (or a few) thrombosed (but external, not internal, though I’m confused about this) hems that I was feeling/seeing and they will resolve (it’s been over two weeks though) and do baths, creams, relax etc

She said hems can’t block stool/gas (?) or make me need to pee more at night (?) I felt for sure they are but perhaps that’s just my tight pelvic floor?? And sphincter??

She said they’re not ‘internal’ or ‘external’ but graded… I’m still not sure what grade these are (?)

She said no procedure needed. Told me to eat fiber and drink water etc etc (I have IBS-C so.. yeah trying to do the things)…

So 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Anoscopy, seriously?

Seems barbaric. Painful and I don’t know how doc will even get it up there with all the swelling. Why isn’t there a less painful way to determine hemorrhoids??

Here is my hole. Ugh.

Never thought I’d share a pic of this, but here we are. Thrombosed? Prolapsed? They are rarely outside of hole but it’s becoming more frequent. What do I do? Already working on the chronic constipation and it’s better, but it’s a vicious cycle…
