Should I take the offer at Costco? Going to school in the fall and need help.

Currently I work in IT, fully remote, but not high wage. I make around 28/hour.

Costco is 20/hr and it's a permanent part time merchandising role. I like that they have the student programs where they are flexible with your schedule.

I don't think my company will keep me part time.. Our company does not operate that way. I'm going back to school for nursing.

If it makes a difference, I live in Canada.

Additional info: I'd have to drive around 20-25 minutes to work if I accept the Costco gig, compared to this comfy (but not fun) fully remote job. For me, it's a big pivot but I just really do not like office work. I love the flexibility but I like the stability in the medical field and always wanted to be a nurse.

Volunteering for hospitals was great for me and like the idea of making a difference and helping people. Corporate is just not for me.

What do you guys think?

Should I ride out my remote job until school starts? Or have stability with Costco and have some part-time income while in school?

My partner is back in school and we have a dog. But after my program and when she finishes her program, we'd pull in a lot more money than I pull now.
