I picked up a 39001 & a 50001 this week for $50.

I’ve been dying to play some of favorite childhood classics but I’m struggling to identify where to even start.

I FOUND THE MEGA THREAD.

But what do I do now? Between all the posts about free mcboot, opl, homebrew, I’m struggling to get a true plan of attack.

Can someone break it down in layman terms for me? I’m
completely green with this. Closest thing I’ve done is use kodi back in the day on a fire stick.

Everything I’m wanting is on PS2 but I’ll kiss you on the mouth If you can help with the twisted metal titles on PS1 also.

I own both a 50001 & a 39001 console.

I’ve watched a couple videos and read through some of the posts but it’s information overload.

Can someone break it down for me what direction I need to go in as far as what to buy to replay some of my childhood favorites?

I’ve got the games covered. That was the easy part.

Between the 2 consoles should I use one over the other?
