Looking for hope from people living with PSC/Colitis

Hi everyone.
I was diagnosed with Crohn’s at 12, but had no symptoms for years. At 26, extremely low hemoglobin led to a diagnosis of stage I colon cancer, which thankfully only required surgery.

Now my follow-up colonoscopy shows my entire colon is inflamed, so my doctor thinks it may actually be colitis. (what they saw during the colonoscopy looked more typical of colitis than Crohn’s).
I’m waiting for an MR, and today I was also told I have PSC. I may need biologics for life.

I feel completely overwhelmed. I’m only 26 and it feels like I survived one serious illness just to end up with several lifelong ones.

I also have social anxiety, and I’m scared I’ll never be able to go out and drink normally again. Finding a partner was already difficult, and now I wonder who would want someone with this many health problems who could potentially die young. Maybe I should just give up on relationships too.

I’m not really sure what I want from this post. My friends are very supportive, but they haven’t had to go through even half of what I have, so I guess I just want to hear from people who actually understand. Does life eventually feel normal again? How do you cope with all of this?

Newbie here – is this a good first restoration project?

Hi everyone! I’m a complete newbie to furniture restoration, but I’ve been looking for a project like this to finally give it a try. I think I have a pretty creative mind and a good hand for DIY and making things, so I’d love to learn.

I found this vintage cabinet for sale, and I think it’s walnut veneer with a lacquer finish.
Would this be a good first project, or is it too ambitious for a beginner? I’d also really appreciate any tips on how to get started and what I should look out for before buying it.

Any tips for making my sadly looking hoya polyneura better?

So I ordered this hoya for a good price what I didnt notice, that it was labelled “damaged”. I have just gotten into indoor plants so I am almost a total newbie, I I wouldnt have gotten it if I have known.
I am happy because it arrived around a month ago and it already has 2 new leaves (the ones on the top) and a new pair is coming! So i think it’s somewhat happy now(?)

My only problem is that it looks ridiculous right now lol. I want it to be bushy and full in the future. I know I should propagate it but maybe wait for some new pair of leaves first? Idk how much leaves should I leave on to make sure it wont die if my propagation attempt fails.

Also do you guys have tops for propagation? I know some people do it in perlite and some right into to existing pot into the soil.

Thank you for any tips and tricks!!
