I am aware that this is an extremely controversial case, but I can only find right wing sources on the matter. Sources which either jubilantly endorse the supreme court judgement without critique, or condemn the left for advocating a reductionist perspective on the matter and distorting historical facts.
What is the leftist position here? Did the left actually distort history and ended up humiliated? Does the left criticise the judgement only because it legitimises the illegal demolition of the mosque in 1992, or are there other reasons as well?
I would prefer actual sources I could look at over brief answers. Maybe books on the leftist position and such?
