What if Victor had been the man in yellow in the past, chosen by the boy in white (who represents the forest or the greater evil entity in From), and whoever becomes the man in yellow forgets everything in the next generation of people in Fromville?
In other words, Victor killed (or caused the deaths of) everyone in the town because he was chosen by the boy in white. In that scene, the two of them are happy, and Victor is keeping people’s belongings. And now the man in yellow, transformed into Sophia, found it interesting to see all the objects people had kept when he went into the storage room to get the glasses?
Just created a theory in my head! That would explain why Ethan sees the boy in white and could be the next one chosen to become the man in yellow (which is also a valid theory)! That would explain the creatures not going after Victor when he went down the caverns too... I don't know if I'm cooking something here
