Hey everyone,

I’m currently a 2nd year student at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (just completed my 4th semester) and I’m exploring opportunities in finance/business analyst related roles for my 2 month summer break.

So far, I’ve worked on a few projects and I’m comfortable with:

Excel

SQL

Power BI

I’m trying to learn more about:

Business Analysis

Financial Analysis / Modelling

Data Analytics

I’d really appreciate guidance from people already working in these domains.

How did you land your first internship?

What skills/projects should I focus on improving in the next couple of months?

And where should I realistically apply as someone without prior internship experience?

Any advice, referrals, or suggestions would genuinely help a lot. Thanks!
