Looking for legitimate futures trading education/community — where should I start?
I’m relatively new to futures and I’m trying to find a legitimate place to learn **scalping properly**, not just another Discord selling signals.
I currently have a **NinjaTrader account** and I’m looking for something that can help me with the fundamentals, including:
Setting up NinjaTrader correctly
Understanding the platform, orders, ATM/bracket orders, etc.
Learning futures basics and risk management
Learning how to scalp **ES/MES and/or NQ/MNQ**
Understanding entries, stops, targets and position sizing
Ideally learning price action/order flow/DOM rather than relying completely on indicators
I would also like a community, preferably Discord, where I can watch experienced traders trade live and potentially see **real-time trade ideas/calls** while I’m learning.
I’m **not looking for a “get rich quick” program or somebody posting winning trades after the fact**. I want something legitimate where people also show losing trades and explain their reasoning.
For those of you who have actually paid for trading education, a live trading room, or a futures Discord:
**Who would you recommend? Who would you stay away from?**
I’m especially interested in recommendations from people who have **personally used the service**, particularly if you’re using NinjaTrader.
I’ve seen names like Jigsaw, Viper, OrderFlow Labs, The Pit, Apex Trading Systems, GhostEye, etc., but I don’t want to choose based on marketing or testimonials.
If you have a recommendation, I’d really appreciate knowing **what you liked, what you didn’t like, how long you’ve used it, and whether you think it was actually worth the money.**
